Items covered by our training program include defensive driving, company policy and procedures, product and equipment knowledge, emergency response procedures, spill containment procedures, first aid, fire-fighting, drug and alcohol awareness, and traffic laws, signs and signals. human hair uk

Members of the Safety team are sent to external training programs in all aspects of defensive driving, safety, health and environmental issues, driver training and appraisal programs and other training as required.

Dispatch staff is given internal training in all the driver training programs we have initiated.

The induction training program for all new drivers is comprehensive. The program lasts approximately 21 days before they are permitted to start driving. They are accompanied by a senior driver for a further period of 30 days before they can complete their probationary period.

Other depot staff and the families of staff and drivers are invited to attend fire fighting, first aid, and drug & alcohol awareness training sessions.

Qualified doctors and nurses are invited to perform the first aid training. English classes are organized with international trainers. The Department of Transport is invited to explain the vehicle laws and regulations. Members of the Police Department are invited to explain the traffic laws, signs & signals.
